The owners of 509 9th Ave N (Red Diamond Family Restaurant) has applied to convert a portion of the rear of the building to a garage bay for motor vehicle minor detailing. Town of Golden Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1417, 2019 – TLA Motorsports proposes to add “motor vehicle minor detailing” as a defined use and as a site specific permitted use to the Historic Downtown Commercial C-1 zone in Town of Golden Zoning Bylaw No. 1294, 2011.TLA_507_9thAveN_Crop_2019_07_24.jpg

Anyone who considers themselves affected by the proposed application and wishes to register an opinion may do so:
  1. By forwarding written submissions for Council consideration (attention of the Manager of Legislative Services) by post (P.O. Box 350, Golden B.C. V0A 1H0) or by email to viv.thoss@golden.ca (only emails sent to this email address will form part of the Council Agenda). Any submissions must be received by 12:00 pm (noon) on Thursday, August 29, 2019; and / or
  2. By appearing before Council at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Council Chambers (810 9th Ave South). (Please note that an earlier version of this notice stated August 20 as the date for the Public Hearing. The date has been rescheduled.)
