Recreation Clerk

The Town of Golden is seeking someone who can ensure smooth implementation and user satisfaction of programs in key Town of Golden recreation facilities including the Arena, Swimming Pool and Rec Plex Gymnasium. This role will be the lead sales representative for facility rentals, program registration, and drop in programing fee collection.  Additionally we need someone who is willing to roll up the sleeves and help out with some light janitorial work.
As our community recreation services continue to evolve and grow we have looked at new ways to develop consistency for our programs and we want a consistent face to help deliver them. This new opportunity that combines numerous existing casual positions into one year round role.
If you have a passion for recreation, healthy living and making a contribution to the quality of life in our community, this opportunity is perfect for you.  This position has been crafted to cover the peak demand times of our existing programs in the late afternoons, evenings and weekends allowing you to enjoy the other aspects of mountain community in the down times.
We also need you to have a current and valid driver’s license, a Standard First Aid ticket or the willingness to get it and excellent computer skills for a standard Microsoft office environment.  Having a university or college level education in an appropriate field would be preferred.
