College of the Rockies - Delivers recreational programming such as Pilates, outdoor adventure training such as; rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, bushcraft, hiking, wilderness first aid, snowshoeing, back country travel, avalanche skills training level 2 through the Adventure Centre. The latest offering includes:  The Burgess Shale World Heritage Study Tour.    The college delivers art programming on site:  courses include; acrylic painting, silversmithing, pottery, sculpting, sketching, beading, and metal art.  Contact - Website - 
Golden Curling Club – The club manages the curling rink and is operational from October – March annually.  The club manages the building and rents curling ice sheets, kitchen and banquet room that can hold 120 people.  League programs are available for people 13+ with mixed league play on Tuesday evenings, Men’s league play on Thursday evenings and mid-day drop in Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.  Contact – Greg McTaggart:
The Gentlemen's Leisure Club of Golden - GLCG - Aims to host a variety of events all year-long focusing on community engagement and recreational and social gatherings. The GLCG’s members and volunteers are willing dependable men that may be called upon when needed in the community. As a registered non-profit organization the group has the ability to support events with additional man power, promotions, licenses, rentals and many other unique options. Currently the club hosts the Golden Ski Swap and Snow Show, Golden Film Festival, Internationally Acclaimed Moustache Competition, The Kla-How-Ya River Battle and multiple action sport film premiers. ToG Silvertips 50+ Hockey – Recreational hockey for the ‘old guys’ designed for players 50+. Mid-day hour and half ice time on Tuesdays and Fridays. Cost: $10.00 per game drop-in. Contact – Sid Brook:
