The Town of Golden has over 14 parks and recreation areas throughout the community. Operations crews work throughout the year to maintain pathways, sports fields, parks, playgrounds and outdoor rinks to help residents and visitors enjoy everything Golden has to offer.

If you are new to Golden or want to rediscover your own backyard, head out for a summer stroll or ride on the Rotary Trail system and discover over 16km of trails in the community. The Rotary Trail system runs alongside our rivers and connects to the downtown core making the trails easy to access and designed for everyone to use.
Family-oriented parks are found in various locations, each with a unique character, theme and playground equipment.
You will quickly find that Golden has plenty of parks designed for your specific activity from skateparks and pump tracks to disc golf, picnic spaces and outdoor skating rinks.
